We cover a wide range of stockists including Honda, Etesia, Bosch, Makita, Stihl, Senco, Efco, Panasonic, Oleo Mac, Castelgarden, Husqvarna and Kranzle. History Monaghan Hire originated at Muckno Street, Castleblayney in February 1980. Since then it has earned the reputation of being Ireland’s largest independent hire company providing plant equipment for sale and hire to every county in Ireland especially counties Monaghan, Cavan, Tyrone, Fermanagh, Armagh, Down and Louth. In 1981 due to the success of Monaghan Hire in Castleblayney a second branch was opened on Dublin Street in Monaghan town. 1982 saw the opening of bigger premises of the Castleblayney branch on Muckno Street and in 1983 due to the growth of the business, the Castlebayney branch of Monaghan Hire relocated to larger premises on the Dublin road in Castleblayney. Meanwhile the Monaghan branch was also thriving and in 1988 the branch moved to the Mall road in Monaghan. Five years later, in 1993 the branch moved to the centre of Monaghan town where Dunnes stores is located today. The Monaghan branch was situated here for three years but moved to the Old Cross square in Monaghan town in 1996. As the business continued to grow, the Castleblayney branch relocated in 1999 to the state of the art premises in the Castleblayney business park located on the Monaghan road in Castleblayney where it is still located today. In 2003 the Monaghan branch moved to a large branch on the Dublin road in Monaghan where it is still located today, in order to provide better quality sales and services to customers. Since 1980 Monaghan Hire has expanded greatly tailoring for the needs of its customers as customer satisfaction is number one to the staff here.
